The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts is an award-winning multi-purpose community arts facility located in city of Burnaby’s picturesque Deer Lake Park that has hosted a wide range of events. Small gatherings to big corporate and entertainment events, such as conferences, meetings, award ceremonies, press conferences, gala dinners, weddings, recitals, festivals, craft fairs, and concerts, can all be held at the Shadbolt Centre. The Shadbolt Centre also has a 10,000-seat natural, open-air theatre where several videos, movies, and television shows have been filmed. SCA offers established and young artists an opportunity to develop and present their work and educational opportunities in all aspects of the fine arts.
